I am so very excited to announce our April 2010 Moderator of the Month

Mikki 316

Mikki is a moderator of the Walgreens forum and has helped so many of us save tons of money! She always finds time to make new members feel welcome and to answer questions for all members. Even with all that she does in Walgrens, she finds time to post some great does in other forums on the board as well.

Mikki has been a member of HCW since June 2007. Happy Almost 3 year anniversary!

I also have to add that she has one of the coolest signature lines at HCW:

Little Known Factoid

I've been been alot of things in my life and spent more time and money chasing the American Dream than I can count. But I've finally realized that more is not always better. The best things I've ever done were becoming a Christian, a Mom, and a true Frugalista (thanks to HCW). This site ROCKS!!!! I was able to leave a bad situation with nothing and not be too afraid to take that risk.

Favorite Money Saving Tip

Always, always, always take blinkies and tearpad Qs when you find them if it's something you regularly purchase, because an awesome deal will come around before they expire, and if you don't collect them, you'll be kicking yourself- every.single.time. Also, check small, local stores for coupons for products that are on promotion at larger retailers, including pharmacies, because they will usually have Qs even if they aren't large enough to run the really good promos.

Budget

In my current situation, I am on a really, really tight budget. But, thanks to HCW and the awesome members and Mods sharing so much great information, we're making it and not suffering at all. I love this site!

WAG, CVS, Kroger
occasionally Food Lion, Food City, Lowe's Foods, KMart, Target.....

Coupon Organization Method

At the moment, I keep whole inserts and use the Coupon Database to find the Qs and clip them as needed.

Best Advice to Newbies

Stick with HCW and ask all the questions you can think of. Nothing is too simple and no one here will insult you for asking questions. We were ALL new at some point and we love helping each other here.
