Community Spotlight ~ Question: Help - local TV station wants to invterview me about buying coupons on eBay!!

What kind of advice would you give me? They are coming at 11:30a EST to do the interview. I buy coupons and beer rebates on eBay about once a month.

tell them you dont actually buy them, you are paying for the persons time to cut, sort and send them to you..

I would think twice about this. You do not want to admit something which can come back to bite you.

I would mention that a lot of couponers use their surplus for food pantries, the troops etc. I woudl also be sure to mention that overseas and military staff can use expired and that these help since costs are often higher overseas.

Well, I did it! The reporter was really into couponing. This is the 1st time I've been interviewed for TV. I was interviewed this summer and last summer for newspaper articles. Those articles were really good and positive about couponing.

I would have been wary of admitting to buying them on Ebay. Just too easy to open yourself to problems. Glad you enjoyed it though. Hopefully you helped some people out who may not have found HCW otherwise.
