cvs---$4 ExtraCareBuck when you buy $20 coupons.... didn't work

I emailed customer care to see what's up, apparently it's just a regular old $4/20:

"I sent this up for further research. We have found that the coupon does not provide a $4.00 Extra Bucks coupon. The $4.00 is removed from the total of your purchase. The $4.00 coupon was added to another coupon to be removed from your total. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding in this matter."

The only problem is $4 wasn't deducted from my total when I used it. Oh well, I'm stocked up on $5/20's until christmas now anyways ^_^

Yea it didn't take off $4 off my total. In fact it said something like catalog $0.00 on the receipt when it was scanned

I had asked at one store and the cashier said they weren't allow to just hand them out. They had to wait for the register to prompt them to ask if a customer wants one. That only people that spend a lot get them first. So she scanned my card and the prompt came up and she showed it to me. Its a little banner message at the top of the screen.

I didn't take $4 off of mine either, it showed up as $0 as well.

I'm thinking CVS didn't program their registers for it early enough. There are problems with the $5/20 and $5/30 coupons that just came out, too.

my cvs cashier told me to ask the cashier checking me out to never hit the total button until i was completely done....maybe that would help??

My cashier gave me one a couple of days ago, then I noticed that they also had a display box of them out on the counter.

Worked for me today. One coupon and used on multiple cards and got ecb's on all cards.

I got 4 of these yesterday. Twice I checked out and it prompted the cashier to give me one, so I got two. My husband checked out twice and it prompted them to give him two also. One of the CVS stores was guarding them like they were gold. Another store had them on the counter at checkout for you to take. There was at least 50 of them. Then at the last CVS, they were at the pharmacy counter waiting to be taken.
