Macaroni & Cheese Made with Cottage Cheese - One of the Best dishes I ever had! Do you have a recipe???

Hi everyone. A few years ago I was invited to a friend's house for Thanksgiving and she asked whether I liked Macaroni & Cheese. (I thought to myself, I haven't had that since I was a kid let alone at a Thanksgiving dinner). I politely said that I liked Mac & Cheese and to my surprise, it was one of the most delicious dishes I have EVER tasted!

She said she used cottage cheese to make it. Since then I have lost touch with her. Does anyone have a recipe?

I've got one that calls for cottage cheese that we use for Thanksgiving. It is "Hoggies" recipe that my husband got somewhere. If you don't know what Hoggies is, it is a restaurant. PM me if you want it.
