go to walmart/kmart/target. get some canning jars (if you don't already have them), lids with bands and some "sure-jel". It will aid in the fruit jelling properly. You will need strawberries, sugar, lemon juice (from a fresh lemon) and sure-jel. inside the sure-jel box is a pamphlet giving step by step instructions. You will also need a canning pot, for the water bath after the jelly is made. I made 24 jars of strawberry and 15 jars of bing cherry jam, using the instructions from the sure jel box (inside). Both turned out fantastic! I much prefer jar (canned) jellies and jams to freezer style, but that's just me. Both types of instructions are in the sure-jel box :)

I'm making some tomorrow!!! I've been reading about Ball Fruit Jell Freezer Jam Pectin on a few blogs. Should be able to find it at any grocery store. One blogger claims this only takes 20 min., which is AMAZING, but I like the fact that this only uses 1.5 cups sugar instead of 8 cups like Sure-Jell does. I'm using the little 4 oz. glass jars, bought about 4 cases last year and never used them. Here are the instructions...

NO-COOK Freezer Jam

1. Measure 1 1/2 cups of sugar into a bowl. ADD contents of 1 pouch of Ball Fruit Jell Freezer Jam Pectin, stirring to evenly blend.

2. CRUSH fruit. ADD 4 cups crushed fruit to pectin mixture (for peaches and apricots, reduce measure to 3 1/2 cups). STIR 3 minutes.

3. LADLE freezer jam into clean freezer jars leaving 1/2 -inch headspace; apply lids. Let stand until thickened (about 30 minutes). SERVE immediately, REFRIGERATE up to three weeks or FREEZE up to 1 year.

Yield: 5 8-ounce jars

Scooby, if you are able to pick enough wild strawberries for a whole batch of jam, I wanna know about it, lol! I've always wanted to do just that but they are so very, very small. I got about a cup one time and added to berries from the garden. It was very good jam.

Wild strawberries.... as in the ones that grow out in the yard like a weed?
I didn't think you could eat these.

I used the Ball regular pectin(not sugar free) and still cut the sugar in half and added juice(for the other part of the called for sugar) and it turned out great. I just followed the recipe on the pectin jar as a starting place. I processed 17 of the half pint jars this year of strawberry jam.

Here is one specific to using wild strawberries Saving the Season: RECIPE: WILD STRAWBERRY JAM

However I would think you could just use any strawberry jam recipe that you like. I am so jealous...we have wild strawberries here but I can never find enough to make anything out of.
