    A.C. Moore Cricut Vent!

Last week, AC Moore had the new everday paper dolls cart on sale for $39.99, with a demo from 1-3 on Saturday. I called Sat at 4:30, they had no carts, and don't give rainchecks. I called Michaels, and they said they have it and will honor it. I went, and sure enough, they didn't have the cart. Guess I have to wait till Thanksgiving...

Michael's will issue you a raincheck for the cart. have you gotten a look at the new Gypsy? Very cool item for the avid scrapbooker.

I always get my carts from Michael's after Thanksgiving sale when they have them for 29.99. I hope they won't go up to 39.99 this year. I got 5 last year and will probably get another 5 this year. It is really the only time I can afford them. But, since my birthday is next Sunday, I can probably get DH to get me at least 1 cart as an early birthday gift if they will be on sale this upcoming week for 39.99. I have gotten a few off Ebay and found one this past summer on clearance at Joann's that ended up costing me around $20. Scrapbooking can be an expensive hobby, but it sure is fun!

Alright, I have a quick question. I wanted to know is it worth it to get the bigger expressions or the smaller one for $99.00. What's the difference other than the size of paper that it holds?

I have the small cricut and there is no difference. Just the size. It works fine for what I need it (kids crafts and school demos) sometimes I wish I had the bigger but then I am happy I have one after wanting one sooooo bad for a long time but couldn't afford it.

My husband sacrificed to buy it for me for Christmas. I cried when i opened it!
    I'm such a baby.

It is so worth it to have one. Takes out having to buy punches.
I buy the carts on ebay the cheapest I have seen. I just purchased the Easter cart and can't wait to get it next week!! So cute!

On the expression, you can make bigger cuts, obviously. If you ever want to use the Wild Card cart, to be able to cut a matching envelope, you are going to need the expression. Also, I love to be able to make a huge page full of the same cut when doing mass production things-like valentines. I love my E, although I don't get to use it nearly as much as I'd like.

Ask yourself if you will take it with you much. I love the portability of the little one, got it thanks 08 for $99 knowing that I might upgrade but that any cartridges or accessories I got would ultimately work. I do a lot of intense scrapbooking on vacation at the beach each year, so I love how I can put my cricut, mats, tools and 9 cartridges in my Sizzix doctor bag. It can also easily go to crops. There is not a good bag to take your expression with you. If I never planned to take it anywhere and had a nice place to put it I would get the expression.

I got a Cricut Expression for Christmas also. I love it, but the cost of the cartridges, not so much. I stumbled upon a product called Sure Cuts a Lot. It takes ANY image and will convert it to a cutting file for your cricut, just plug your computer and cricut together with a cord. Simple and MUCH cheaper than cartridges. I will never buy a cartridge. Hope this helps!

    Regarding the sizes:

there are two small ones - the Original and the Create

The Create is the size and portability of the Original with many of the features offered on the Expression.

The biggest difference is, of course, the size. The two smaller bugs can cut 5.5x11.5 where the Expression can cut up to 11.75x23.75

Additionally, the Expression has many features such as MultiCut, Rotate, Center Feature, Fit To Page, Fit To Length, and more. Also, the Expression screen wil sho the image that you selct, not just the image name.

All cartridges work in any Cricut Machine, as do the blades.
