I've been selling items on Craigslist. This week I've sold 30 boxes of wet wipes for $2/each. I only paid about $0.30 for them.
If you do crafts, you could sell them as well. Many areas have craft co-ops where you pay a small fee for space in a store and then display your items for sale. Of course there is the up front fee, but if you do something original it could be a good money generator. Or check into selling on Etsy.com
If you don't want to do a traditional yard sale, you can do an online one. Take pictures of all the items you want to sell and upload them into a free photo account online. Then post on some different Yahoo, Google, etc. groups and craigslist for an online yard sale. Craigslist is probably the best since you wouldn't have to deal with shipping, but either way you avoid the fees of Ebay.
Wife to 1not updated right now, mama to 3 little girls.
May not be terribly creative, but you can make money selling your blood plasma. I have seen ads around here where you can make $280 your first month as a blood plasma donor. I haven't tried it myself (not sure I would qualify with my anemia), but lots of people do it as a way to supplement their income.
