As I needed a WiFi router anyways it was essentially FREE for me to join. NOTE: they occasionally have rebate coupons so you can get their FON WiFi router for FREE.

This fascinates me. Does it make your wireless network more vulnerable to people hacking in?

Become a baby machine and make big $$$

You can donate your eggs to help an infertile woman have a child and get paid up to $10,000 a year
You can become a Surrogate mother and carry another woman's baby and get paid up to $33,000 a year.

    Recycle ink for $$$

This is a scheme that takes a bit of time and effort but can become a real money maker if you are willing to put forth the effort.

    1) acquire 1000+ empty inkjet cartridges (not worth my time for anything less, YMMV)
    2) take 1 to 10 cartridges per day to an office store for recycling (each store has different daily limits)
    3) use or sell the gift cards you obtain from the office stores in exchange for the empty ink cartridges.

FYI, i spend about $500 to acquire 1000 cartridges and sell (recycle) them for about $3000. RoI = 600%+

HINT: you can get a lot of used ink cartridges free by offering a recycling program to schools, organizations and companies.

TRICK: i buy new empty cartridges directly from the manufacturer.

    Default Canned Food Cans

You can take them to a scrap metal place and they give you $ for them.
My mom does it all the time.
Might as well make $ while you're being green.

I have never thought of this. HHMMM...I wonder the amount you would get for them. I guess it would be similar to coke cans. I will have to look into this.

    Great Idea!

YMMV, depends on stell $ etc., but last time my mom got like $2 for a 13 gal trash bag's worth, and the cans were not crushed/flattened.

My son sells cans to the scrap yard and he told me today they are paying like .68 cents a lb. right now. He said the price keeps dropping and he may go sell before they lower it more or stop buying altogether. I rinse and save all my cans for him.

One thing we did a long time ago when we were dirt poor was we went to local restaurants and bars and asked them if we provided the containers would they save the empty bottles and cans for us. 90% of the people we asked said sure. We started off with just cardboard boxes but soon we had outdoor trash cans at each establishment. We would make our daily rounds picking up the bottles and cans and take them to the recycling center for cash. We made around $50-75 a day doing this. It was good money for us. You just had to get used to the smell of stale beer. LOL

    Hi,
I would like to get into to Mystery Shopping but don't know where to start. I have heard there are a lot of scams out there, so I'm a little nervous also. Could someone PM a few solid, safe ideas? Please? Thank you.
