Thanks for letting me know! So is the price on the shelf what it actually rings up?

OK, here is what I've found.
You HAVE to check the shelf tags, because a couple of stores didn't have tags up at all for the Accents and Borders kind. For some reason, when they first went on closeout, they DID have a purple tag (or I would never have noticed them). The purple tag has been replaced by a regular tag in some stores, but the regular tag says $1.09.
There may not be a tag AT ALL, so look at the packages. It is the Viva Accents and Borders, the UPC is 36000 19266. If they aren't labeled on the shelf as $1.09, then take them up and have someone scan one. Only the accents and borders are closeout priced, but some stores don't put up their clearance tags like they should.

I bought about 20 boxes of garbage bags last week in one Bruno's because the shelf tag still had the regular price of 4.58 but the closeout price was actually 2.29. Noone had taken advantage of the closeout because the purple tag had not been put up. I came in, asked a checker to scan a box for me because they had been clearanced at another store, they rang up 2.29 so I bought what they had and used my $1/1 Hefty coupons. It worked out well for me because now we have garbage bags for a few years.

Thanks! I just got back and got one scanned it was 1.89 as shelf tag said. I can't remember which style I scanned. I am going back to try again. What count are the garbage bags please? I did get the ziploc freezer bags on clearance.

The bags are the Hefty Easy Flaps 37 count Tall Kitchen bags. 13 gallon size.

The other Vivas here are $1.89 too. The Accents and Borders are 1.09 but your store may be out of them.

There is an Oust clearanced for 1.99 and there are $2 off coupons. It is unscented I think. I am going back

Various scents/types of Dawn liquid dish soap are clearanced.
I bought big 25 oz bottles for 1.39 each, some Ultra Antibacterial, some Dawn OXI, some Original. If you have doubles, use the .50/1 coupon on these for a .39 bottle of dish soap.
If you don't have doubles, the small bottles are closeout at .74, so the .50 coupon can still come in handy.

ALSO, the Dawn Direct Foam is closeout, but I can't remember for how much b/c that slot had been emptied by someone else. There is a $2/1 coupon out for these, though, which should make for cheap soap, too.

Invisible Cherry Cool-aid packets .13 I bought almost all the Spanish Ft, AL store had left.

They also had

Febreze Noticables Starter Kits calypso breeze and hawaiian paradise on clearance for 3.99. I had $3.00 MFG from a recent newspaper insert so OOP .99

Febreze Noticibles Refill lavender comfort and gentle vanilla clearance for 2.24 each, bought two and used a 1$/2 coupon again from a recent newspaper insert so OOP 1.74 each great considering these are around 4.50 at my local Wally!

They also had Febreze Air effects lavender vanilla & comfort scent on clearance for $1.49, I had $1.00 coupon for it from recent newspaper insert so .49 OOP.

I also bought the dial foaming handsoap they had on sale for 1.50 and used my .30 coupon from the newspaper for it, so doubled it and oop .90!

What a great trip to Brunos......lol all I went for was low carb tortillas I can't get anywhere else and some pork rinds they have BOGO all the time.

Now I've read some of these other clearance deals and want to go back and take another look in case I missed something, LOL!
