Brookshires..Anyone else??

Anyone here in texas area that has a brookshires? I'm not sure if they are statewide or not..

Anyhoo I was wondering if anyone knew their raincheck policy.

We have a Brookshires but I am unsure of their rain check policy. Sorry, but I will be watching this thread to see if anyone has the info.

while at brookshires get some free chex mix using the 0.50 q from sundays paper, its a 1.00 this week here. velvetta is 3.99 so i picked up some of that as well. had a 0.35 q for price pimento cheese and it was on sale for 1.50 so got it for 0.45 after triple q. the oscar mayer shaved lunch meat was 2.50 and i had a 0.55 q for that.

*** found a brookshires raincheck and it says 30 days.

Does your brookshires double? They only double here once in awhile =( Did yours have the ballparks on sale for 99 cents??

YES ON .99 BALLPARKS. they double up to 0.50 and triple up to 0.39. used to be only when advertised but now it is everyday.

i got 15 free packages last night after i price matched at walmart...gonna go wipe out brookshires today and then get rain checks as i still have about 70 more coupons coming? lol ill get what i can at the other 2 walmarts too

Ok to answer your question first.. I don't do the rain checks... I tried once but got the evil eye....LOL..

... i will go there every once in a while...BUT they are so expensive.. I mean really expensive..

Here is a TRUE example..

Brookshires Price: 2.18

Walmart price .94..


I went on the day where they had double q's and you can only do ONE q for each brand size ect.. So even with the double .50/1 it was still cheaper to go to walmart..

Also..Our store doubles usually 2 times a year... and i KNOW they raise the prices when they do it...

I wish they would double evey day and tripple every day and NOT raise the prices then i owuld shop there.. BUT still only for the sales...

sorry to complain so much...LOL... I just really hate going to brookshires...

oh i hate them too, you're right they are exspensive..i like when they do the b1g1 free stuff too, they will totally jack the price up on that product.. i set foot in there maybe once or twice a year.. and the only reason ill go there now is to get a few rainchecks for the hotdogs! my new fav store is albertsons, but only for the good sales and the cats. other than that they are pretty exspensive too
