Free True North, free bacon & cheap candles at Brookshires

Just got back from Brookshires and thought I'd share some deals.

Right now they have Smithfield Bacon for $2.50 ea...if you still have the $3 IP from the Smithfield website that means free bacon! Also, most of the True North nut cluster packages in my store had Try Me Free peelies on them - they are $2.99 each.

Finally, they have the 2 oz Glade Fragrance Collection candles for $3.19 and I had a $3 IP for any product from The Fragrance Collection, so I got the candle for 0.19. Not bad!

The bacon and candle deals are very YMMV because Brookshires' "official" coupon policy is not to allow IPs over $1.99 or coupons that would make an item free. But I (politely) argued and the manager took them.

Also, in the Celebrate Cooking magazines there are coupons for Oscar Mayer lunchables and Deli Fresh combinations. (25 cents off reg or jr lunchables, 50 cents off Deli Fresh combos or funpak lunchables, and 75 cents off the "big" lunchables w/water). They say "Store Coupon" at the top. Anyone know whether we can combine these w/MQs for free or cheap lunchables? There was a $1 MQ for the lunchables w/water in the 8/23 SS.

And...just got an email back from Brookshires corporate. Wow, they are fast! They said that combining a store Q and a MQ is fine. So those lunchables w/water come out to 0.75 ea with the 2 coupons. Pretty good deal!
