I have gotten this error several times and after they try to push it through with no luck they can not enter in anything else. I am not sure what is going on just wanted to reply and let you know that I feel your pain! I didnt think I would have to work this hard for free gum!!!!!

At a store that always gives me problems I told them I didnt want the gum after they started getting rude. At my regular store, I bought the gum and then the assistant manager refunded the amount to me in cash. I guess it just depends on your store and how they want to handle it. The coupon is still valid though b/c the manager at the store called on it before and told everyone to refund the coupon amount.

I heard a new one today about these booklet coupons. I was told you can only use each coupon once per card period. Not per order per card. That once you have used one the reason it won't go thur again the next time is you have already used it. OK then....

Two times today, at two different CVS stores, I bought 2 of the Hershey's Dark pouches on sale for $1.99. I had a Heartbeat coupon for $1/off 2 both times and they both beeped.

Anybody else have this problem? Both cashiers pushed them through, but I was curious. The only other beeps I've had from Heartbeat coupons is sometimes the $3 one on Lifefitness gum because of the overage.

Actually the LF one beeps every single time now.

The cashier and pharmacist at my CVS in Southern Illinois didn't know anything about a Heartbeat booklet! Maybe they will have them when the new store they are building opens.
