so no overage on my order.
anyone know why?
(on the nerds and Thai there would have been overage without triples, except that Bloom does not double. I guess I should have used those coupons at stores that double and give overage)
I did not think Bloom gave overage. | My Bloom gives overage only on the difference between the sale price & regular price. For example, the Thai Kitchen products I bought were normally $1.50 and were on sale for $1.25 a piece. My .50 coupon tripled to $1.50, giving me .25 overage. However, the McCormick grinders were $2.08 regular price. The .75 coupon tripled to $2.25, but I did not get any overage because it was a regular priced item.
Another example is the Ronzoni. It is normally $1.49 a box but was on sale for $1.00. The .50 coupon tripled to $1.50, which mean I got .49 overage. If it had not been on sale, it would have simply gotten it for free, much like the McCormick grinders.
However, this is s YMMV thing. Some stores don't give any overage (which is OK because free is free is free!). Some stores give overage but only on similar products (i.e. the overage from the Thai Kitchen Noodles could only be used to purchase more Thai Kitchen Noodles.) |
