Amy's Organic Soup

Well this week's organic adventure was Amy's Organic mushroom soup. I am cathloic so during lent I get tired of tomato soup,grilled cheese and mac and cheese so this looked like a great alterniative. It was 2.49 a can and I did have a free coupon that I used. I emailed Amy's and told them that I was new to organic food and I received some really good coupons.
I must say this was a very good soup. Very good mushroom flavor and there was also a strong onion flavor which really complemented the mushrooms. If you are not a fan on onions you might not like the soup. I used 1/4 can of the Horizion milk in the soup as well and it was nice and creamy. I ate half the soup for lunch and left the rest for the next day which heated up very nice.
Looks like week 2 was a hit, I am also pleased to say that last week my husband had to drink some of the Horizion milk and he actually liked it! I almost fell over when he said that. I think I might try a snack item this week and see if I can get him to like another product.
