Hi, thickbluebug here.
In this blog we will chart our journey of the deals we are chasing and the rebates we are hunting.
Tossing in some daily thoughts and tips.
Of course there will be drama too. We are couponers and someone is always trying to pee in the cornflakes - so drama is a given. Deal jealous fools trying to spoil the fun.

I was making some crescent rolls tonight and though I should make it a tip on btfe.

I was the worst when I first started on here about knowing what is tradeable and what isn't.

Box tops, trade & cambell's soup labels trade....
Schools even have contests and give prizes for the most collected....lots of moms will trade generously for those.

upc for cereal, snacks, soda, trade

beer upc's - trade

points for coke and pepsi...

ThickBlueBugs thoughts...

Mastered coupons and stockpiling? Take it to the next step........REBATES

Live in AL, AR, CT, HI, IN, KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, SD, UT, VA, VT, or WV?
..... you are in a nwpn/nbpn state for some of the rebates for coors, miller, heineken, bud, bass ale, fosters, ....

Check out the rebates in the gimmemymoneyback forum.

.....If you are lucky enough to live in one of these states, you don't have to buy the beer to do

1/20/2009

Working on getting some rebates out today.

Tip of the day
Rebates, to reduce your chance of rejection mark rebates, receipts, with name and addie. Paper flies everywhere in those processing centers. When a name is on the crt is makes it easier to match up to the envie and to the form.

I have ordered several self inking stamps from vista. I love the stamps!
Self inking stamps are still one of their free ones you just pay shipping on....

Tip of the day
I changed the way I buy groceries. Every purchase is a mini run. Yeah it takes a few more minutes, but it pays off with my rebates.

why:
My pet peeve is to find a big crt and waste all the other purchases on the crt.
Like if I have a crt that has $20 meat, $12 in soda, $14 in salty snacks, then I just lost out on all those other rebates

So now I buy my items in the amounts for the rebates I normally see

  • meat
