Hi, thickbluebug here.
In this blog we will chart our journey of the deals we are chasing and the rebates we are hunting.
Tossing in some daily thoughts and tips.
Of course there will be drama too. We are couponers and someone is always trying to pee in the cornflakes - so drama is a given. Deal jealous fools trying to spoil the fun.

Rolling with Ra again
I still have some of the gift cards from the old J&J ra promo. So this has me thinking about ra again.
I just got an email from ra about how many products were free after rebate this week. Looks pretty good.
I liked Ra, it was just a little difficult remembering the rules.
One draw back was that I only have days certain days that I can buy certain products. I have to buy what is available for rebates on the days or weeks it is eligible, or I lose money. The problem was that the signs usually stay up after the week it's on rebate. So when something is out of stock, I grab an ineligible item. Yep, I just lost money.
I absolutely hate to return things.
Then there is the wait on the receipt to be uploaded. I lost a few rebates last year because the receipts were never updated online. I emailed and one receipt got approved but the others didn't.
Since everyone and their mother is doing wags and cvs, I am having oos issues.
I live in the boonies and it's causing me a lot of wasted time.
I have to drive 40 minutes to cvs, another wags, and a ra.
I say it's time to try ra again.
Last night I went and $65 worth of tears, sinus, allergy, snore products, and cold sore otc medicines.
Stuff we use. I hope the receipt gets approved this time.
edit: yep got my ck yesterday, slow but still free stuff
