Hi, thickbluebug here.
In this blog we will chart our journey of the deals we are chasing and the rebates we are hunting.
Tossing in some daily thoughts and tips.
Of course there will be drama too. We are couponers and someone is always trying to pee in the cornflakes - so drama is a given. Deal jealous fools trying to spoil the fun.

Mastered coupons and stockpiling? Take it to the next step........REBATES
Live in AL, AR, CT, HI, IN, KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, SD, UT, VA, VT, or WV?
..... you are in a nwpn/nbpn state for some of the rebates for coors, miller, heineken, bud, bass ale, fosters, ....
Check out the rebates in the gimmemymoneyback forum.
.....If you are lucky enough to live in one of these states, you don't have to buy the beer to do the rebates!
This is how most of us stock up our pantries.
When I stockpile something like sodas, nuts, cooking oil, soup....it's with a bogo sale, hopefully a coupon, and a rebate.
My secrets out.

Hi, some rebates that are nbpn/nwpn don't require the alcohol purchase for certain states. You would have to find an offer and see what states qualify. This is an excellent time for rebates.
Superbowl!!!!
To use an example, Take the Save $5 or Save $10 by heineken.
http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...-ok-ut-wv.html
It's good on $20 worth of chicken wings, ribs, shrimp and or sausage.
It has states in the fine print that are not required to by the alcohol.
AL, AZ, CT, KI, KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OK, UT, or WV.
So if you are in one of those states, then find a crt (s) that has $20 worth of the qualifying meat, complete the requirements on the form (age, residency, original crt, original form) and get $10 back by mail in about 3 weeks. The forms quote up to 6 weeks, but they are normally quick.
Where to find these rebates:
displays in the stores,
look for tear off pads, a carboard standing cut out that has a box (that holds pamphlets), peel offs and hang tags around the neck of winetags.
I also trade for these in our trading section and buy off ebay.
For this month:
I have done or am working on doing these rebates
$10 on $10.01 of water ..bud,
15 on $15 of pizza ...bud,
$10/10 salty snacks, propane, ... bud
$15 on $15 of cooking oil....bud fiesta rebate,
7.50 of $30 worth of sodas ...coors light,
$5 on $20 worth of soda... coors light,
$5 on $5.01 of water,
$3 on 9 volt batteries hook and ladder,
$5 on $10 meat, $25 on a tv.... bud,
$15 on $30 of party supplies/groceries.... miller,
10% of a grocery order up to 100.00 .......pabst(called basket ring rebates),
$5 on $10 worth of salty snacks...2 different companies ...bud and heineken,Posted 01-21-2009 at 03:38:19 PM by thickbluebug

Hi, Find a rebate good in your state. Then do what the forms specifies.
If it says nbpn, good in MO ( I think that is your state from your profile), your state...then you are good to go. That means no beer purchase necessary and it's good in missouri. Just buy the specified stuff w/o the alcohol.
I try to only do the ones I buy the stuff for anyway...ie .....water, chicken, pizza, chips, nuts.....
It seems too simple, but it's free money to me....I was buying the stuff anyway.
Rebates trade for 1 stamp, to bunches of stamps......50 to 2.00, just depends on how many are out there. I have paid 2.00 for a form before it was a really hard to find form. That was an exception for me. I normally pay 10% or under.
I do stamps and pp to pay for mine.
