Hi, thickbluebug here.
In this blog we will chart our journey of the deals we are chasing and the rebates we are hunting.
Tossing in some daily thoughts and tips.
Of course there will be drama too. We are couponers and someone is always trying to pee in the cornflakes - so drama is a given. Deal jealous fools trying to spoil the fun.

Tip of the day
I changed the way I buy groceries. Every purchase is a mini run. Yeah it takes a few more minutes, but it pays off with my rebates.

why:
My pet peeve is to find a big crt and waste all the other purchases on the crt.
Like if I have a crt that has $20 meat, $12 in soda, $14 in salty snacks, then I just lost out on all those other rebates

So now I buy my items in the amounts for the rebates I normally see

  • meat in $10/$15 orders,
  • pizza $10/$15 orders,
  • soft drinks $10 at a time,
  • chips/salsa and dips $10 at a time,
  • nuts and salty snacks $10 at a time.
Food
out of the stockpile meal of the day.... home made soup, lol actually it's 3 days

Spending

oop: zero....5.16 on a gc from wags
milk, bread, 2 doz eggs, 2 packs no nonsense socks, 3 rolls gift wrap, 7 cases pepsi products, 6 oust surface (my store was substiting for the air freshener),

mcdonald's 7.46
son post date food
