walmart and kroger tally

i hate walmart. i try not to go there but when a deal is a deal, it is hard to pass up! plus we had gift cards, so figured might as well put them to use. excuse my grammer and punctuation, it is 210am and i'm tired.
walmart
2 bags iams dog food = free
1 cotton balls = .97
1 tylenol cold warming liquid = 5.37! (only until i got home did i find my coupon for this!)
1 mesh headbands = 2.22
2 whitecloud tp = 2.
1 pepperidge farm garlic bread = 1.77
2 progresso soups = .80
3 kibbles for the dog = 2.61
1 gain detergent = 4.97
1 iams dog food (suppose to be free but she only took off 7!) = 3.00
2 welch's sparkling grape juice = 3.00
2 ky jelly = +.86
1 lash curler (had coupon for this but she wouldn't put it through since my coupon was higher than the product...hehe) = 2.98
9 ky warming liquids = +2.97
16 durex = +2.72 (party time!)
1 witch hazel = 2.58
1 clearasil = .97
2 green giant steamers = 1.
1 ronzoni pasta = .50
3 peach yogurts (1 was suppose to be free but she did not scan the coupon) = .62
tax = 8.47
grand total pre coupons = 129.97
total after coupons = 30.78
used gift card (thanks mom-in-law!) $25
oop = 5.78
saved (after gift card) = 124.19
would have been even less out of pocket if she had put through the lash curler coupon, and i think one of the $2 off the Kys was not run through. so, should have been around $10 less if everything would have gone through. our walmart really sucks on sales. their after christmas sale was complete crap. a couple of years ago, me/mom visited my sister in panama city beach, fl during christmas time. the day after christmas, we went to walmart and got some incredible deals, i mean for pennies on some things! i guess things have changed on walmart sales or mine just doesn't do that, because everything was still so expensive! come on, who is going to pay $5 for a stocking after christmas?
