| | Cool thanks for the tip about Eggland's!!! I added a few more companies today. Emails from other companies that said they'd send some, so sure to add more. I was surprised Tyson sent me any, especially the free ones-we eat those Any'Tizers like crazy too! |

| | 4 more companies added to this list! I was really surprised on how many coupons Turkey Hill sent, plus a free magnet! Very impressed with their letter also. Cannot believe I got anything from Country Crock, I've heard that they rarely send coupons. I think one of the keys is to be specific about certain products, if possible. And I guess it also depends on the mood/specific person who reads the email and sends the coupons out. I've only been doing this the last 3 or so months, but so far have gotten some GREAT coupons! I especially love the free coupons I've been getting recently. I'm emailing everyone from food companies to beauty, just about everyone! |

| | Wow, you've really done a great service by posting this. I do have a question though: are you writing to compliment them, to complain, to ask a question, to ask for a coupon or what? I'd like to do whatever will most likely get me a coupon!! I'm brand new so hope my question isn't too dumb. |

| | Your question isn't dumb, we gotta start learning somewhere so the best way is to ask lots of questions! The Clorox people I complain to, on a bottle I bought that the nozzle was messed up on. They sent me a nozzle replacement plus a free coupon. Also, I once complained to Schick that their Intution razors didn't last long enough and they sent me a free coupon. The other companies I tell them how much we like there products, sometimes specific products that we use a lot (for instance, the Tyson free coupons I specifically told them how much we are addicted to their Any'Tizers, and we are!) I probably spend more time than I should spend praising a specific product, but usually they send some great coupons than if I just say 'You make great products...send me some coupons'. So, basically my emails go like this: "I just wanted to say how much we love your (insert product here.) Blah blah blah..we eat them or use them all the time Blah blah blah...Is there a home mailer list we could be put on for future mailings? Or coupons you send to consumers that could be sent so we could buy more?" Not the fanciest of emails, but once you do a few of them, you begin finding your own way of what the email should say. I also use a FireFox Add-on called Autofill, I'm sure Internet Explorer has one but forgot what it is called, and that really reduces the amount of information I have to put into the contact forms (name, address, etc.) So, contacint a company takes less than a minute, usually. BTW...added 3 more today! |
