The first cold of the season is going through our house. Yuck. First my son had it, then the baby's OT came over and she had a cold so I think she gave it to the baby. Then my SO got sick. Now I have it. So I'm sure my oldest dd is next. I have so much to do around here, no time for colds. And I'm semi-germphobic so I'm constantly spraying everything with Lysol. Drives the SO nuts! So here is my spending for last week. Other than the wine and still my need to get my food bill down, I don't see much fat to trim. You'll have to look at the attachment in Excel. I guess if kids didn't have teeth and such, I would save a lot of money! I also sent out a few new rebates so expecting another $20 back. All those rebates are going towards Christmas shopping.

You take more of the bad

Ugh. I'm just having a blah day. Went to see the geneticist with the baby. I really think this is all a big waste of time. They think she has grown so fast weight wise, where in the first 6 months of her life, she was tiny and Failure To Thrive. Now they're worried that she gained so fast. These doctors are never happy. So they'll do some blood work to test her for a few things and I'm sure it'll be nothing. I just hate going to the hospital with her....

This was not a banner week. Started off great, had all good intentions, but we had an incredibly busy week so getting take out pizza ended up being a solution one night. And my eldest had to have 3 hours of testing that day at the hospital and had fasted all day for it, so I let her go a little crazy with the ordering. Ouch. But that's a rarity, so I won't beat myself up too much.

So where do you draw the line? One thing I swore I would never do is be like my SO's mom (my mil for all intensive purposes) and drive to 3 different grocery stores so I could save as much as possible. But that's exactly what I've been doing lately.
And Target, And Wal-Mart, And CVS!

If I keep track of my mileage and the current gas prices, maybe I can see if I am wasting more money than saving. But then that's more time on the puter.
