What a great trip to CVS! It's my 3rd one this week, but the 1st that actually had the Softsoap SPA!
My card:
5 Softsoap Spa
1 Hershey's truffle kisses (needed a treat!)
$.88 oop
$6 mfg coupons used (1.50x4)
$18.97 ECBs used
$3.50 Quarterly ECBs used
$24.95 ECBs earned
DBF's card:
5 Softsoap SPA
1 CVS Foot spray
1 CVS vitamins
1 Aquafresh Advanced
3 Neutrogena handcreams
1 Neutrogena footcream
$1.05 oop
$10.75 mfg cpns used
$3/10 CVS used
$10/50 used
$28.93 ECBs used
$24.95 ECBs earned
$3.49 Aquafresh rebate sent
His trans was a little weird. The Neutrogena shelf price didn't include the $1 off sale price, so we were short of the $50 needed for the $10/$50 (Honey? Run back and grab those vitamins you wanted!). So he ran back for the vitamins, which allowed us to use the 3/10. I didn't realize that it made us short on the Neutrogena deal, so we need to go back and buy one more thing to make up for the $1.84. Then we'll get another $5 ECB to print.
I love that we were able to work non-ECB and non-CPN things into the deal and still break even! He keeps getting 10/50 coupons on his receipts, so that works out great with the $15/$5 sales this week!
The cashier that usually gives me a bit of a hard time was even nice! Maybe because he was actually shopping with me this time, so I've proven that there is a 2nd person for the 2nd card. LOL!
BUT... we got home and realized that the special Hershey's Kisses treat had fallen out of my pocket on the way home.
Must have been when I stopped to pick up Coke Codes from the gutter.
Oh! Add that to my total:
15 Coke Points earned
