Rite Aid:
2 Got2B angel stylers $4.99 each SALE
J&J Baby head to toe wash $4.49
J&J baby lotion $.01 SALE
Lamisil gel $7.99 SALE
Original total: $23.82 ($34.30 before sales)
Coupons: $5/$20, 2 $3 off Got2b hair care VV, $1 off J&J baby care VV, 2 $1 off Got2B, 2 $1 off J&J baby care product
Total paid: $7.82
Will receive $6 SCR for the Lamisil.
I could have gotten my OOP lower if my printer hadn't decided to mess up as I was printing the Lamisil VV coupon and ended up not printing it. And since the VV site doesn't let you reprint if the coupon doesn't print right, I lost out on it. Also, apparently we didn't get the Lamisil coupon in our papers here that came out a couple months ago. But I decided to get it anyway since it's still a good deal with the SCR.
Had some problems with the $1 Got2B manufacturer's coupons I had. They were sent to me from the company and they look weird, like tickets or something instead of coupons. The cashier asked me what they were. Then they wouldn't scan. She called the manager over and he showed her how to enter them to give me the $1 off for each, but after that I'm not so eager to use the other coupons Got2B sent me.:shrug7:
I don't have any babies, but I do have tons of relatives that are always having babies. So when I can get baby products free or really cheap, I grab them and save them for baby shower gifts.
February totals:
Merchandise total: $580.28
Total paid: $248.86
Minus rebates/contest wins received since 2/1/10: $68.98
Adjusted total spent: $179.88

Hi! :) VV is for the Rite Aid Video Values coupons. You can find a link to the Video Values on riteaid.com and then you watch videos to get store coupons you can combine with manufacturer's coupons. Hope that helps!Posted 02-24-2010 at 09:24:54 AM by shabba0819

2/24 Food Lion
Food Lion:
Beneful dog food $10.72
Tampax Pearl $5.29
Original total: $17.10
Coupons: $2 off $5 pet purchase, Free Tampax Pearl catalina (coupon said up to $5, so manager took off $5 and I had to pay the $.29)
Total paid: $10.10
I wanted the smaller bag of Beneful that's $5.99, but they were out and my dogs need food so I had to get the next bigger one. This was the coupon-unfriendly FL that I decided to risk going out to during lunch for this quick transaction. I figured since I was just using two FL coupons they couldn't hassle me too much, but the manager certainly did examine my coupons for a really long time before accepting them.
And I just want to say: a box of 18 count Tampax Pearl costs $5.29??? Yikes! So glad I had the Free* (*up to $5) catalina or else I would never have bought them. Now I'm wondering if I really used to pay those kinds of prices before I started couponing over a year ago?
I got a $15 rebate from Olay and a $10 rebate from Kraft this week.
February totals:
Merchandise total: $597.38
Total paid: $258.96
Minus rebates/contest wins received since 2/1/10: $93.98
Adjusted total spent: $164.98Posted 02-24-2010 at 01:25:44 PM by shabba0819

Total paid: $10.61

Food Lion
Yesterday I decided to try another Food Lion that's a little farther away from work, but still close enough that I can run by there during lunch or on the way home. I love this one! It's bigger, cleaner, and way friendlier. No hassles about my coupons so far. (Crossed fingers.)
Yesterday, Food Lion:
Eggo waffles $2.50
Milk $3.99
Beneful dog food $10.72 MVP
Original total: $17.90
MVP discounts: $1.23 off dog food
Coupons: $1 off Eggos FLIP, $2 off $5 pet purchase FLIP
Total paid: $13.67
Today, Food Lion:
2 Kraft zesty Italian dressing $1.99 MVP
Coffeemate $1.29
Mango $1.29 MVP
Beneful dog food $10.72 MVP
Original total: $18.93

Coupons: $2 off $5 pet purchase, $1 off Coffeemate, Free produce wyb 2 Kraft dressings (-$.99)
Total paid: $11.41
Received $.75 off Coffeemate powder and BOGO catalina for the Coffeemate on the go sticks.

Another weekend where my husband happened to be off and insisted on accompanying me, as evidenced by the higher number of non-MVP items and junk food that didn't have a coupon purchased.
Aldi:
5lb potatoes $2.49
Baby carrots $.99
Grapes $1.98
10 yogurt cups $.37 each
Italian salad $1.89
Bananas $.78

So for February, I bought over $800 worth of food, household, and health & beauty aids for under $300 thanks to sales, coupons, and rebates.
