2/8 Rite Aid
Every time I go to buy the Olay eye roller and cream for the rebate, Rite Aid doesn't have any eye rollers on the shelf! They had the eye rollers last week when the Olay wasn't on sale. This week, gone. So I went with my backup plan for today's trip.
Rite Aid:
Dove men's body wash $4.00 SALE
6 Nivea women's body wash $2.99 SALE
Ziploc 15ct freezer bags $2.99
Original total: $26.47 ($52.16 before sales)
Coupons: $5 off $25, 3 $3 off 2 Nivea body wash, $1.50 off Dove men's body wash, Free Ziploc bags up to $3
Total paid: $7.98
Will receive a $5 gift card for the Nivea, and $4 SCR for the Dove body wash. I had gotten the free Ziploc coupon from SC Johnson because I had a box in which every bag leaked in the two bottom corners and they sent me a free coupon to replace them. (SC Johnson has great customer service!
) So I used the Ziploc bags to get up to the $25 mark so I could use the $5 off coupon.
Still need about $20 more for the $100 level in the P&G Visa card rebate. So if there are no eye rollers on Wednesday, which is the last day to buy for that rebate, I'll work out another deal using my $20 Gift of Savings to get what I still need.
February totals:
Merchandise total: $280.93
Total paid: $134.81
Minus rebates/contest wins received since 2/1/10: $25
Adjusted total spent: $109.81Posted 02-08-2010 at 12:17:55 PM by shabba0819

2/9 Walgreens
Walgreens 2/9:

Coupons: $1.50 off Dove body wash, $4 off Gillette razor, $.69 ad q for mac & cheese (-$2.40), $8 RR
Total paid: $4.75
Received $6 RR for Dove and $4 RR for Gillette. And a $1 coupon for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Yes, Walgreens, I've been dying for that!
I got two more rebate checks in the mail yesterday. One for $9.98 for Olay Quench and the other for $3 from Renpure Organics Shampoo.
February totals:
Merchandise total: $301.58
Total paid: $139.56

Rite Aid:
Tide Stain release $5.99 SALE
Tide $10.99 SALE
Electrasol $6.49
2 Snickers minis $3.99 each SALE
2 Scope Outlast $3.99 each SALE
Original total: $40.55 ($56.45 before sales)
Coupons: $5/$20, 2 $1 off Scope, $.35 off Tide, Free Tide Stain Release wyb Tide, $1 off Electrasol VV, $1 off Electrasol
Used $20 Gift of Savings
Total paid: $5.21
Will receive $1.50 SCR for Electrasol and this purchase gets me to the $100 level for the P&G offer for the $35 Visa card. I'm in a short ad area and so Electrasol is not on sale for us. But with the manufacturer coupon, video value coupon, and rebate, it's not so bad. And it helped me make sure my total was over $20 after coupons.
February totals:
Merchandise total: $358.03
Total paid: $144.77
Minus rebates/contest wins received since 2/1/10: $37.98
