Making someone happy

Stopped in at Rite Aid today to get some BOGO Maybelline foundation since there's a rebate on them and I also had a $3 off coupon for the Dream Mousse foundation. Last week when I was in there getting Act mouthwash with a coupon, this cashier who is usually working when I'm there asked where I got that coupon because she uses Act. I told her it was from a Health & Beauty booklet I found at Food Lion but that I had only seen the booklet at Food Lion in another town, not in ours. I found two extra Act coupons in my binder this weekend that are expiring April 1. So when I stopped in at RA today and that same cashier was there (I come in so often that she remembers me and calls me Coupon Girl), I said, "I have something for you if you want them. They're expiring Wednesday, so you'll have to use them quick." and pulled out the two Act coupons. She said, "Yes! I'll definitely use them!" and did a little happy dance. 
It feels good to brighten someone's day with a small gesture. :smile77:

You would be amazed at how little it takes to make the employees, in the retail establishments you shop at, happy! It just takes that little extra and they will remember you and do everything they can to help you!Posted 04-01-2009 at 10:56:48 AM by angie110
