Week #2

Posted 06-09-2008 at 06:07:48 AM by schroema

So another week is here with new coupons and deals to discover! I have two Sunday papers to go through this week. We want to price match something at Walmart that was in the Meijer ad so we got a paper that carries the Meijer ad. Ours stopped about a month ago. :( I know I could print the ad off the web but I guess I'm figuring on less hassle with a hard copy ad. Plus I got a double dose of couons this way!

June Grocery Budget

Posted 06-04-2008 at 04:27:24 AM by schroema

My goal is to get my grocery budget down around $300 a month. I think this should be do-able if I can keep DH out of Costco. :lol:

Purchases this week:
Meijer = $67.17, savings of $42.37
CVS = 41.10, savings of $38.01, also rec $15.98 in ECB
Target= $5.00

Total Grocery for June= $113.27
Remaining budget = $186.73

I also bought the youngest 4 pairs of summer pjs at Target for $11.50.

I"m back on the coupon train and want to get more aggresive with deals. In the past I would try to "double up" on sales and coupons, but...
