DS#1's birthday party was today. They had been calling for 60-65 degree weather, which made me a little nervous since our apartment is just too little for 8 children under the age of 6 and a few parents. Luckily the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.

4 girls and 1 boy who he met last year in preschool and all but one is in his kindergarten class this year and also the little sister of one girl, who happens to be in ds#2's preschool class this year. And 2 moms and 2 dads...

Tonight at 8:00 I finally got the answer I needed about soccer tomorrow.

The girl in the school's office this morning told me 'tomorrow was just signups and that I should show up at Location X between 9:30 and 12:00, or at least that's what she thought' OMG

The woman that was listed as one of the contact people called me tonight when she got in and gave me all the info I needed. I actually know her - I graduated with her brother and she graduated with my sister. ...

It's insane!!! lol

Our town's high school doesn't have a football team like most high schools, but they are big into soccer. They offer soccer to pretty much every kid in town, right down to the preschool level, once a week on Saturday mornings for about 6 weeks or so.

So I knew that it would be starting soon. Yesterday ds#2 brought home a sign up sheet for preschool soccer but it didn't have any info about when it was going to start so dummy me thought that since...

We are smack dab in the middle of making major changes on our property. The plan is to put up a new house and get out of this shoebox sized apartment, that was designed for one but four of us live in it.

We've got a 15 yard dumpster being dropped off tomorrow and we will probably fill that with junk from the barn that's left over from my dad's stuff and grandfather's stuff. And
we've got a guy interested in taking the barn down and taking the frame. We had hoped...

And the cynics said it would never last. LOL

Dearly beloved,
We were gathered that day to celebrate the love between Lesley and Andy. (or however the minister worded it)

12 years later and 2 beautiful little boys later and we're still going strong.


No big plans for us. I actually wouldn't even see dh if I wasn't planning on taking the kids down to the fair, where he's working at the food booth....
