new plans for the house have been ordered!

I met with the building inspector this morning to make sure we had all the information we needed and there's only a few little details that the builder is getting to me and then the only holdup for applying for the building permit is we need to have the rest of the barn down to close out our demo permit.

There will be an excavator and a dump truck here tomorrow taking care of that. WOO HOO

Hopefully they won't...

I don't think I'll actually be able to partially relax until after we've signed the papers at the bank and we know that it's in the hands of the builder, and then fully relax once we can start moving things into our new house.

So the cliff notes is that we're taking down the old barn and a new 3 bedroom modular home with a full walk out basement will be in its place.

Every day seems like a new thing with it. We're just waiting for the bank to call us with the closing...

I'm so proud of my little bugger!!! Today ds#1's backpack had his journal from his teacher. Here's what she wrote

DS is doing very well in kindergarten. He is a hard worker and follows directions very well. He is always very pleasant and his sweet personality is very endearing. I am very happy to have him in my class.


LOL - I'm glad he follows directions well at school, because lordy knows he doesn't always listen all that well to me.

DS#1's birthday party was today. They had been calling for 60-65 degree weather, which made me a little nervous since our apartment is just too little for 8 children under the age of 6 and a few parents. Luckily the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.

4 girls and 1 boy who he met last year in preschool and all but one is in his kindergarten class this year and also the little sister of one girl, who happens to be in ds#2's preschool class this year. And 2 moms and 2 dads...

Tonight at 8:00 I finally got the answer I needed about soccer tomorrow.

The girl in the school's office this morning told me 'tomorrow was just signups and that I should show up at Location X between 9:30 and 12:00, or at least that's what she thought' OMG

The woman that was listed as one of the contact people called me tonight when she got in and gave me all the info I needed. I actually know her - I graduated with her brother and she graduated with my sister. ...
