2 rainy days in a row, so the progress has been on the inside of the house.

Even though the house is a modular and came in mostly finished inside, there was still some sheetrock work to be done along where the 2 halves met in the middle. There were also a few cracks above the windows here and there, probably from driving around the corners from there to here.

The sheetrock has all been put up now and mostly taped but it still needs to be mudded here and there and...

We did make some more progress today. The house is getting closer to being sided. They got 2 of the corner channel pieces installed as well as the very bottom vinyl piece attached on the front and the sides.

Also the window in my basement laundry room has been installed. (Still 2 other windows and the double doors to be installed.)

More work done today!!!

The dirt crew put up a retaining wall on the back southern side, so that we won't lose our driveway into our backyard. It will need some prettying up when all the work is done, as right now it's just honking concrete blocks, staggered like brickwork. (Hard to explain, so I'll take pictures tomorrow.)

The electric crew came in today and got most of the wiring done. The panel box is up in the basement and the meter is on the outside of the house....

No pics today - but more progress to report.

The little eavey-things are now up on the roof on the northern end of the house and also that TyPar paper has been put on the entire back side of the basement wall.

The septic system inspector came today and had 2 small changes that need to be made before they'll stamp a big ole approval on it. Changes have been made so now we wait for another inspection. They did get the ok to backfill it, so we're down to just...

For all you readers that are as anxious as I am for this project to be finished, here's today's progress.

Visibly, it doesn't seem like alot of progress was made by the solo man here today, but there was some.

The window in the basement has been cut out of the wood. (it had previously been framed in, now it's a wide open space.)

The little spikey things have been knocked off the exterior of the back basement wall, which will ultimately be covered up with dirt....
