well, not really but sort of!!

They are finished with everything on the main level, with the exception of putting the screens in the windows. Honestly, I don't know what they are waiting for on that

well, not literally on. lol But most of my news today is furnace/wood stove related.

We heard from the people that came to look at the hot air furnace the other night and they are going to buy it from us. We dropped the price a little more than we wanted to, but we really wanted to get it sold. So yee haw on that!!!

We also had 2 really old stoves down in the basement. We loaded them into the truck this morning and drove them to a guy that restores antique stoves. ...

A day ahead of schedule WOO HOO

The boys and I left at 9:30 this morning to run some errands this morning and we got home just after noon. As usual we drove in our yard via my mom's driveway and through the garden, since our driveway has a honking hole in it near the well. I opened up the door and heard something tapping. Lo and behold when I peeked around the corner, there on my front lawn stands a beautiful newly installed utility pole.

Well, the electric company holds the card on when we get to move in....

The digger truck will be here on Friday to install a pole on the edge of our front lawn and a pole across the street from us too. Then we'll be finalized on the schedule for them to come and swap the wires out and run them underground to the house. Right now we're penciled in for Thursday, September 4th. Hopefully we'll be penned in sooner, but with Labor Day in there, I'm doubtful they'll move us up.

Here's the progress made since the other day:

All of the wooden trim has been put up in the entire main floor!!

A man from the modular company showed up today and installed the 5 shelves in the linen closet. He also brought more paint and doorknob parts. Poor guy had to drive 2 hours to get here this morning to work for maybe an hour and a half and then drive back. At least it was a nice day for a drive!! lol
