Status report for 8/15

Here's the progress made since the other day:
All of the wooden trim has been put up in the entire main floor!!
A man from the modular company showed up today and installed the 5 shelves in the linen closet. He also brought more paint and doorknob parts. Poor guy had to drive 2 hours to get here this morning to work for maybe an hour and a half and then drive back.
At least it was a nice day for a drive!! lol
The work in the attic around the chimney (vents or something) is all done and the plastic came of the chimney. Now Santa Claus can show up in a few months!!!
The screen door has been put on the sliding glass door.
and the smooshed shingle and piece on the front of the house has been fixed, so now I can call to schedule the gutter guys to come and install the gutter.
I even did my first bit of housecleaning in the new house. I swept the floor in 2 bedrooms to help get them ready for the carpet dude. The other rooms have the rolls of carpet and padding, so I couldn't sweep them very well.
Now that it's the weekend, 2 more days of none-progress. :hectic1: Maybe I'll sweep the basement, just to feel like I'm doing something to help move this thing along.
....finally, less than one week until the new pole gets here.
