more house progress

The siding is getting there. The front and both sides are done, now just the back remains.
They've also gotten the sanding done on the sheetrock, so now that part just needs painting.
Here's what is still left to do (I'm probably missing some non-visible stuff!)
The back needs to be sided.
Inside electrical work needs to be finished. The power company is going to put a new pole in the yard and we'll be running the electric and phone cables from that new pole underground to the house. The trench was dug today and the conduit should be laid in there tomorrow.
Plumbing work needs to be finished. The water hookup won't be done until the last possible minute, since we still need the water in the house we're living in. They are trying to coordinate it so that we're waterless for the least amount of time possible.
Heating still needs to be finished. The boiler and water tank are all set but the cooper still needs to be run from all the baseboards upstairs to the boiler. The oil tank also needs to be put into the basement and pipes run.
Gas line needs to be installed for both the gas range in the kitchen and the dryer in the laundry room.
2 Windows and Double door need to be installed along the walkout basement wall.
Painting needs to be done on all the sheetrock that's been recently worked on.
3 interior doors need to be hung. (my bedroom, ds#2's bedroom and cellar door)
Carpet needs to be laid in 3 bedrooms and living room.
Stairs need to be put on both the front door and side door.
Deck needs to be built for off the sliding glass door in the dining room.
I just want it all done!! :hectic1:
