7/15 progress

Not too awfully much to report today.

Septic digging continues today - the hole is much much much bigger now - materials for the leachfield arrived so I'm sure it'll continue tomorrow.

The excavator/bulldozer man was working at getting more of the yard dug down to the proper grade and now I have huge piles of sand everywhere, which my kids are loving!!

The prep work is beginning for the chimney to be put in. (It's going right next to the closet in ds#2's room) and he's all distraught because they took off his closet door today. lol

The double doors for the walkout basement arrived today and also the furnace. DH's boiler friend is doing the furnace hookup for us at a huge discount and they'll be starting tonight, working for a few hours a night until it's finished. It's good to know people in the know (and even better when it's a people in the know that has a license in our state!!!)

And the risers for the basement stairs are well under way, so there should be access to the basement from inside, probably tomorrow. (I'm guessing!)
