7/14 house progress

Today's progress isn't very picture exciting, so I didn't get the camera out.
They've got part of the septic system done already..... the main tank is in, but it still needs to have the pipes (or whatever you call them) attached to run from the house to the tank. My yard is dug up and there's big dirt piles all over the place. I hope that they finish up quickly because it's challenging to keep the dirt monger children of mine off of the dirt piles!!
The plumber also spent most of the day in the basement today and will be back again.
The mopboard (the molding thingy on the bottom of the wall) is almost all done throughout the upstairs.
One bedroom door was hung up today. Still 3 more interior doors to go.
They also cut out the hole where the cellar stairs will go.
And one other piece of progress to report - on Saturday, dh and I dragged out one of the 275 oil tanks from our existing basement. What a pain in the butt that was!!! Those tanks are heavy and the silly metal legs were digging into the dirt floor down cellar. I could barely move my arms yesterday!!

 |  *sigh* no more talk over septic tanks! i had it w/ them lol lets just say i have a very big problem right now w/ the person who put ours in a couple of months ago. Half of our front yard has grown in but i cryed w/ the dug up that beautiful grass :( septic tanks are the ugliest things out there and have to maintain it buy pulling out weeds that grow in it every few weeks. heres a picture of them working on it..it was hell trying to get to the mailbox  gratz on the new house! the joys of owning a house sometimes wants you to pull ya hair out lol |
