Drop off was successful!!!

taking ds#1 to school today was a breeze, compared to yesterday, despite the mess they are calling traffic control!!
They've got part of the parking lot roped off and plyons everywhere so that the drop off process isn't bad. The parents with older kids can loop around and drop them off by the cafeteria door and be on their way, and not clogging up the parking lot.
We parked and took ds into the cafeteria to wait with all his classmates and he started getting whiny and clingy, until one of the aides from his room saw us and came over to take his hand. 'I've been looking for you' she told him. He was fine to walk away with her - yippee!!!!
Then it was off to Walmart. SOOO much easier with only one kid in tow, despite the fact the my little shorty-pants thinks that he's the world's best shopping cart steerer. LOL He does very well, but his little legs make it a slow process.
I got some plastic glasses (how's that for an oxymoron) on clearance for $.10 each. Pretty big ones - too big for the kids but plastic glasses last MUCH longer than glass glasses around here.
And got a Grave Digger Monster Truck toy for DS's birthday next week. Here's a pic: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5053490
The sucker is huge, and the back of it is open so it'll hold most of his smaller Monster Jam trucks. Only thing is that ds#2 keeps saying 'Me play with brudder's big monster truck, mommy' Well, he'll have to get over it!!
