Were moving .....

DH and I have talked and we are moving when our lease is up. We pay $795.00 + water per month for a 3BR 2 FULL BATH 1 car garage duplex. We really have more room than what we need here! (We have a 3rd bedroom that is EMPTY and a garage we dont even park in that barely has anything in it!) That is just a waste of $money$! We are hoping to move by August across town into a 2BR 1.5 bath where we will be paying $550 a month and they pay water/trash! It just doesnt make sense to pay for unused space, and if we are cutting corners on everything else then this place needs to go, too! (That is almost $400 a month we will be saving between rent difference and water/trash bill!) I think thats an EXCELLENT decision! Also, when we decided on a 2BR we talked about when we give up the 3rd bedroom, were also somewhat giving up having another baby anytime soon. (I was so determined to have another baby when we moved here hence getting the extra bedroom, but we realize (now) we would like to have our own house first.) I plan to use the rent savings on saving a down payment for a home and maybe within the next couple years we can purchase our first home together! I miss having a backyard for Skyler ..... so that is the latest!
