*sign* a new bill is on its way!

Well, things have been difficult with this "living on a budget" ..... my car is DOWN again!
DH and I are really debating whether or not we should jump into a car payment. We havent had one in almost 4 years! DHs car only had 6 months left when we got married (almost 5 years ago!) and my car I just recently bought for hardly anything. It isnt brand new, but it got me where I needed to go ..... CVS! haha
J/K! So, the problem a couple weeks ago was the rear Wheel Bearing and the back Brakes, now it is the Master Cylanoid (or Cylinder?!)
I dont know what its called, but I know that isnt a cheap repair! Anyways, I could sell it as is and *maybe* get a few thousand out of it, or trade it in and get a thousand. I guess it depends on whether I want the headache of trying to sell it or not! So, if I get a "new" car (most likely about a 2002 or 2004) I would *really* love to have a PT Cruiser!
Ive wanted one forever! And I told DH if I have to have a car payment and get rid of my paid car, let me pick out one I WANT to pay for! So, the option is mine! Im just uncertain on the trunk room in PT Cruisers, thats all! If it cant hold lots of CVS or WAGS bags, then the car isnt for me! haha
So, any opinions on PT Cruisers? Object or agree with getting into a car payment?

| | I'm a little tainted. If you don't have a car payment right now. And you are looking at getting into a car already. Start paying yourself what you would be paying the bank for one. If you can't afford it now, don't use the bank as a "big brother" to make sure you pay. I personally would pay the repairs, this time, then start making myself payments for a new one. Because you know your going to want one. That being said, we are trying to get out of our first only car loan. Only so many kids would fit into the "little" car we had. Since, we couldn't put the kids "back where they came from", so we got "Whine-mobile". |
