My Dad (83) has been extreemly ill for the last few months. It's been hard to get at all excited about "deals". However, my coupons did come in handy when I was taking my turn caring for him. Snack Pack Pudding is the easiest thing for him to eat and get his crushed pills down. Also, the Ensure coupons are appreciated.

I came out of "buying no groceries" land to take advantage of the Kroger deal. Our food pantry at church was looking a little bare.
I loaded up on cereal and HH.
My own pantry? Still pretty full. My own freezer? Slowly looking less full.

After extensive couponing, I find I have absolutely no need to buy groceries. We are now doing our best to use up what has been stashed away in the freezer and pantry.
I'm also saving up for an upcoming trip to Holland. All the couponing has helped me save so much $$ I've been able to put some cash aside. Wonder if they use coupons in Holland??
