I would have had an awesome shopping trip this afternoon, except for Hubby's "necessary" requests. Beer and Bread. Not just any bread. Special bread from the bakery section at $5 a loaf!

Oh and when did Angel Food cake get to be $7?!?! I had to buy it for a get together this Saturday. But good grief!

Still I managed to save over $50 with coupons and sale items...not including an MIR for Excedrin $4.99.

Yesterday was a great shopping day!
I finally found a krogers I like and boy did I hit the jackpot :). This particular store had lots of blinkies! Also... they had great closeout sales and a big clearance table.
My husband and I try to eat pretty healthy mostly organic stuff and they had a bunch of products marked down (which I had coupons for) making them really cheap. I ended up saving 50% on that grocery bill. I was rolling down all the rows with my big coupon binder opened...
