Today, I bought 8 pounds of bacon for $4.00. The cashier was very impressed and even announced to the sacker "She only paid $4.00 for all that bacon!" I was feeling pretty Good. Now, I have bacon in my frezzer for the year for only 50 cents a pound.

Hi,

I did pretty good at CVS yesterday... here is what I got:

4 - Olay Cleanser
2 - Febreze
2 - Febreze Sprays
2 - Dawn
1 - Playtex 18 ct.
1 - Aquafresh Toothpaste
4 - Cover Girl Mascara
4 - Cover Girl Eye Shadow
1 - CVS Makeup Remover

All for a grand total of... $1.73!!!

The total savings was something like $118.04!!!

This wasn't the most exciting trip, but it's been fun to record my grocery shopping here - makes a nice accompaniment to my budget spreadsheet to track how I'm doing!



Total Spent: $1.06 - would have been a lot less, but my store's stock was severely depleted from the holiday, so I wasn't able to buy all the overage items I had planned. And I was having some serious chocolate cravings tonight, so forgoing...
