I have a passion, a passion to get the word out to women that they need to know where thier household money is going. I hear too many stories of women, mostly SAHM's who let thier husbands take over the finances and they don't know what the bills are, what the balance is in thier checking accounts, or anything about thier money.

And yes even if you don't earn the money and are a SAHM or SAHW it is YOUR MONEY TOO and you have the right to know where it is and where it is going.

I ♥ Clearance!

First my DH who works for Coke spotted a cart of clearance spices and goodies at Smiths while he was delivering there and called me on the phone and told me that I should run over there if I had a chance, so since the kids were at school I grabbed my purse and headed over to Smiths.

They indeed had lots of spices in a shopping cart in the back so I rifled through them and found some that I thought we would use. Since spices do go bad, many times before...

Here is what I got, what I paid, and how much I saved.

What I got:

21 - Various General Mills cereal
3 - Bags Purina Naturals Cat Food (Clearance for $1.00)
3 - Bags Albertsons Frozen Diced Green Peppers (Clearance for .50c)
11 - Bags Albertsons Frozen Green Beans (Clearance for .50c)
5 - Yoplait Yogurt Multipacks
5 - Yoplait Yogurt single cups
1 - Bag Organic...

So much is going on in my life and with the site, I still wish there was a way to see new blog posts on the forum (going to find a way someday I promise!)

Oh well...as most folks know I get pretty busy. And I will be honest with you, I forget that the blogs are here. I wish there was a way for the forum to let us know that there are new blog entries to look at and comment on.
