I went over our spending and budgets and I am sad to say that we have been eating out WAY too much. We have a budget of $30.00 a week for dinning out and have been going over it too much. Part of that is because DH likes to stop on the road and buy a burger or a Coke while at work (um you work for Coke why are you buying one at full price??)

And then another part is laziness and not feeling like cooking. Both DH and I cook dinner about 50/50.

Well DH and I had a talk this weekend about getting serious about saving money for a house.

We have about $4000 left in debt to pay off...maybe a little less if I can talk down the biggest collector into settling for a bit more. And I got 2 settlement offers on 2 old phone bills for 1/2 what is owed today in the mail and so I need to figure that in my spreadsheet so I am thinking that we may be able to settle for about 1/2 on this last little chunk.

I have a passion, a passion to get the word out to women that they need to know where thier household money is going. I hear too many stories of women, mostly SAHM's who let thier husbands take over the finances and they don't know what the bills are, what the balance is in thier checking accounts, or anything about thier money.

And yes even if you don't earn the money and are a SAHM or SAHW it is YOUR MONEY TOO and you have the right to know where it is and where it is going.
