Bathroom Cleaned!

Well I finished up my bathroom last night. DH was a big help because he offered to move my cleaning stockpile from the shelves over the washer and dryer into the linen closet for me.
Yeah I know I said I was going to put linens in there, but decided otherwise because I have more cleaning stockpile than I do linens (ok lets call them what they are sheets,pillowcases, and misc. blankets...none of them are made of linen, and its not like I have nice matching coordinated sheet sets all Martha Stewart like
)
I was in there mopping last night and everyone kept comming in to see it
"Hey we have a bathroom in here!" was the common cry. LOL
I have pictures to prove that it is done. I should have taken before pics, but man that was scary.
Pictures: Please note that I STILL can not figure out how to fix the date on my camera....darn it I thought I had it fixed too.... Mini goal today...fix the date on my camera
Picture 1 - Clean countertop

Picture 2 - Rubber Ducky shower curtain

Picture 3 - Rubber Ducky Towel Bar (DH is going to need to re-do this because 1. Its crooked and 2. It is hung too close to the mirror so that will make it hard to clean the mirror

Picture 4 - angled shot of the toilet area...this was piled about 4 feet high with boxes, totes, and bags of baby clothes, linens, and general misc because the toilet is broken. I even found a whole tote full of toilet paper that I did not know I had.

Picture 6 - Linens over the washer/dryer

Picture 7 - Bathroom totes under the sink (these are cleaning caddies picked up for $1 somewhere that we decorated with sharpie markers) I have one, DH has one, and the two older girls share one and then we have one for the little kiddos for thier bathtime.

Picture 8 - Cleaning stockpile (DH moved this stuff over. I am OCD and would have made sure all the stuff was facing out and right side up, but he doesn't care about that stuff and I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. He did all the work of moving it and putting it away...thats all I care about.

Picture 9 - Another pic of the cleaning stockpile

I see I have more room for cleaning stockpile...that is a dangerous situation. I guess the only cure for that is more shopping

Thanks 6months, I need to find a cup to fit the one holder, cause my friend sent it to me without the cup...
I went today with the 3 youngest on a trip to Kmart to look at towels (did not find anything I was willing to pay for) and OMG those kids just about drove me nuts. I now know why I dont take them shopping with me. Carly found a toy phone in one of the aisles and they fought over the phone, till I took it away, then Carly screamed and threw a tantrum, I left my stuff in the cart (sippy cups and some chex mix for them) and marched them all out to the car, no treats for them. I have a zero tollerance for acting up in the store. I will go back tonight for the sippy cups cause we need them and they had 2 packs for $5, as well as the big canisters of coffee-mate for $3.50Posted 09-04-2007 at 01:54:50 PM by queenofthehivemomof5
