I am SO glad the 160 order didn't work out, because I wouldn't want to think about what my trip to Safeway would have been like if I had been buying 160 pouches instead of 14! I've read many posts about ignorant checkers and managers when it comes to their coupon policy, but today I went through a "right of passage" as I was given my receipt with no Catalinas.

Here's what I had bought:

14 Bertolli Sauce Pouches $28
2 Pure Protein Bars $ 2
2 Beechnut...

So I called Catilina this morning and it turns out the Bertolli CATS are only going until Sunday. I also talked to the manager at Safeway and she said she could get them there by Sunday morning. This would be great IF I had my coupons in hand. I won't be suprised if they come Saturday, but I just didn't want to take the chance they wouldn't come. So I have a bunch of Bertolli coupons that I'll probably re-sell on Ebay. If they do come before the CAT deal is up I will go to the 3 stores in town...

I'm really enjoying blogging. I was hesitant at first, because I've journaled online before and I always tend to go on and on and on. I was afraid of doing the same thing, but have found that it's a great way to journal while staying more focused.

So here's how the rest of my day went ... GREAT! After MOPS we came home and had lunch and then David and I went outside for him to play on the new play structure (a total blessing from my best friend's in-laws-FREE). It's so great, because...

Only in Central Oregon can it be snowing on a Tuesday with a forecast of 80 for the weekend! It's so nice out today, we'll probably stay outside for most of the afternoon. This is the weather I would love to have most of the time. I really do enjoy the snow and spring and fall are great, I just don't like it when it gets REALLY hot. This is probably because we don't have an air conditioner (at least we didn't have one last summer. I'm buying one this year).

I called Safeway and left...

So I am going to be ordering A LOT of the Bertrolli Pasta in the morning. I'm going to special order it so I don't have to drive around to each store each day, hoping that the stores have restocked their shelves. I will be donating most of the Pouches to our church's food table and will keep some for our family and share with friends. The thing I'm most excited about is all of the CATS I will get back. I am going to have to figure out a specific day and time to buy all of the pouches so it's not...
