Where has the week gone?

I haven't done so well with keeping track of my spending this week. I'm thinking I'm going to officially start on the first of May. This is when DH gets his check, so I can make it part of our monthly budget, as well as part of my big goal. Also, I'm going to increase my goal to $1200 for the year. $100 a month is more than reasonable and since I'm working on building our stockpile, I think that works. The following year, after we're completely stocked up, I'll reduce my total spending goal.
My house is clean!!! (don't look in the office
) It feels so great to look around and not see piles everywhere. I need to do things like vacuum and mop today, but those are much easier to do when you don't have to clean the space first. Also, I'm going to organize the things I've stockpiled so far (in the office). DH has been supportive, but I think he'd be even more on board if there wasn't just a pile of stockpiled items taking up space. I've been keeping my eyes out for some shelves, but I haven't found anything yet - well, nothing with a low enough price tag.
There's a possible money maker at Safeway involving Pillsbury crescent rolls, but I need to check on the price at my local store before I order the coupons. I also need to either find people who want crescent rolls or figure out a recipe that I can use them in that can be frozen. I haven't looked online at all yet, but I'm sure I can find something.
Albertson's isn't having any double coupons this week, but they will be having them in the May 3rd paper (probably a 3-day sale). I already have my SCOTT toilet paper coupons, so the next time they get doubles, I will be paying 35c per 4-pack. It'd be even better if they went on the 10 for 10, but 35c is a great price. That's lots of trips to Albertson's, but it's worth it. I really like being able to get the "insider info" and to see the ads early, 'cause it helps me strategize so much better.
I'm going to be stocking up on Suave Shampoo/conditioner as well. Safeway has them for $1 if you buy 10. After coupons, I will pay $3.75 for 10 and they are part of the Unilever Rebate so it's even better. Even though the Bertolli CATS aren't printing anymore, they're still a great price. We had spaghetti last night and really enjoyed the sauce. I figured out that after the coupons I have and the LWFG CAT, my oop will only be $3 and I'll get another $10 CAT. Those are also part of the Unilever Rebate, so it's definitely worth it. So I'll do 15 pouches per transaction (If I can find that many in one store) as well as transactions with the 10 Suave products. It'll cost me $6.75 and I'll have my $40 in Unilever products, which will get me enough for the rebate. I have 10 rebate forms coming (bought them on Ebay). It's only one per address, so I plan to share them with family, friends, and neighbors. With this economy, things are tight for so many people, so if I can help, all the better.
