So today I was able to do most of my transactions. I probably have another 6 or 7 to do. The thing that's holding me up is the fact that the Albie's ad had a spend $15 get a $5 Catalina, however, the toilet paper I got didn't give me a CAT. Okay, so I barely made it to the store last night, 'cause I just wasn't feeling that great. However, knowing that I still had coupons for the LWFG deal and yesterday was the last day, I decided to go anyway (don't worry, I don't have Swine Flu )

Well, somehow it got to be the 5th and I haven't started posting until now. I just added up my totals from the LWFG promotion and found out that I did 13 transactions, spent $102.56oop for $909.18 worth of groceries. That's a 88% savings! I still have one more deal to do, which will put me really close to $1,000. I definitely won't be buying dishwasher detergent anytime soon (after tonight ). I will still have 2 $10 CATs left and will be getting $65.16 back in Rebates! I'm not sure what...

I haven't done so well with keeping track of my spending this week. I'm thinking I'm going to officially start on the first of May. This is when DH gets his check, so I can make it part of our monthly budget, as well as part of my big goal. Also, I'm going to increase my goal to $1200 for the year. $100 a month is more than reasonable and since I'm working on building our stockpile, I think that works. The following year, after we're completely stocked up, I'll reduce my total spending goal....
