Keeping up a blog is hard work! I have been busy with school, and kids, and life in general. I have not stopped shopping though!

The manager at CVS was ringing me out on Sunday and he complimented how well I did with my coupons and said I was one of those "smart shoppers". I'm not even a super couponer at CVS. I don't do all the ECB deals and I don't do multiple transactions and I only have one card. So the fact that he complimented me just shows that there are no other...

Even saving 50% right off the bat is awesome. That is what I was saving when I first started couponing in January. I am now starting my 6th month and the savings is really starting to show itself at the register and in my wallet.

The Lowes Foods ad has been pretty pathetic for quite some time now. Well this week it was OK so I decided to go and pick up a few of their specials. They had SOOO much more on sale than was in their ad. I hate to think of all that I have been missing by not going over there or at least checking prices online. Check out all the stuff I got:

Budweiser BBQ sauce 1.99-.75 = .49 each
French's Mustard .99-.50 = Free +.01 overage
Gatorade .79 - .50= Free + .21 overage...

So we went to the beach all of last week. Let me tell you, travelling with a toddler and an infant is no fun task. I spent 2 months getting ready for this "vacation" and it actually ended up being more work than if I had just stayed at home. We were there for 7 days and I saw the ocean a total of 4 times. Kind of a bummer.

On top of that I didn't get to do any of my regular shopping. CVSing, WAGsing, etc. are what I do on Sundays for some ME time and I didn't get to do...

ok so i've probably said a million times that I NEVER shop at wags. I always end up spending more OOP than I wanted to. This week the deals are too good to pass up.

If you have been having trouble with cashiers at your WAGs then I suggest you go late at night. 3rd shift people are a completely different kind of people and they are so much more laid back and easier to get along with.
