I finished carving my two youngest DD's pumpkins this afternoon. For all the little curves and lines, they turned out pretty good and now we have Cinderella and a Dragon to proudly display. As for my older kids, I told them that they were on their own this year and that I wasn't doing any of the work for them. Yah right! My oldest DD changed her mind like 10 times and ended up with a one eyed Sponge Bob. And DS, he carved his into the shape of a buttock with the hole and all. Gross! Just...

I had one of those days where the list of "real" stuff that I needed to get was too long to ignore anymore. So out I went armed with coupons and my list in hand. On a good note, I saved 81% off of my grocery list. On a bad note, I saved $0.00 on my trip to Wallyworld. Ha! Yeah you read that right, $0.00! Realistically though, I bought a few food items, but the rest were non-food. Coupon-wise, could I have saved any money there? Probably, but the one coupon that I could use apparently expired...

Well I am finally caught up on my coupon cleaning. Or almost at least. I sorted through and mailed out 2 stuffed envies full of expired coupons on Thursday to a very nice Christian lady in Indiana that accepts expired for the military, and I finished cutting last weeks coupon inserts as well as todays new ones. Can we say WOW! Phew!!! I can't remember the last time I actually had the coupons cut out on the same Sunday that they came in. I must be sick or something. Just kidding.

Yesterday's beginning chaos ended up okay after all. The music store called and told me that the new books were finally in and so I was able to get that taken care of. Yeah! After that, the kids and I headed to Wags and scored some more goodies.
