$10 worth of Kmart Coupons?

I went to Kmart today to get a bottle of Pert Plus free with a $3 coupon. The cashier then wanted my e-mail address and she mumbled something about people getting internet coupons. I immediately thought that people were purchasing coupons on the internet and they were gonna limit bottles to the consumers, then she told me that Kmart was gonna mail $10 worth of coupons. Is this something new?

I believe I was already signed up with Kmart's email updates...wonder if this will still work?
