I had 20 qs for $1 off any Valley Fresh Steamers. Walmart was selling them for $1.22 a bag, so I got 10 last month and was gonna get the rest before they expire this month. Walking around in Walmart today, I noticed they went down to $1.00! So I used the rest of my qs to get 10 free bags! The cashier and the lady behind me were impressed and wanted to know where I got my coupons, etc.

I guess this makes up for yesterday...I have been shopping Walgreens as a couponer for a couple of months. I had a $2 q for Excedrin PM. I was worried they wouldn't accept it since the Walgreens Weekly Ad listed the Excedrin sale with pictures of Excedrin Migraine and Excedrin Extra Strength. I didn't have such a great day at Walgreens today. I noticed that my Peter Pan coupons were expired, they didn't have any Softsoap, no sugar free gelatin and no more Puffs. There were no more Walgreens ads at the front of the store and August Easy Saver Catalogs were gone. I had to borrow a cashier's WAGS ad. There were only 2 Glade Plug in warmers, so I got those. They rang up as 3.79 SALE and 1.00 SALE. After all that, I forgot to give her my $4 Glade q, so I got overcharged...grr!

I had some q's for Ken's salad dressing and salad spray. Well the salad spray was on sale 2 for $4, so I used the $2 off q and got it free. I then had 5 $1 off qs for the salad dressing and they were advertised at $1.12, so they were 12 cents each. 6 bottles for 64 cents!

BTW, the store was HEB
